The Swiss Caps Group supports local associations, organisations and societies, but also different events. Certain private individuals (e.g. business partners), who are socially engaged in a special way, can also count on our support.
Because of the large number of enquiries received, we have implemented clear sponsoring guidelines. We concentrate on existing commitments with large sustainability or enquiries from local associations, organisations and societies in the proximity of our different sites.
Sport is great; and does you good!
Many widespread diseases of the 21st century, e.g. obesity, cardiac and circulatory problems, diabetes or respiratory diseases, are a consequence of a lack of exercise in our society.
Whether playing soccer, volleyball, gymnastics or other sports – over the years, Swiss Caps has made a strong commitment to popular sports in the Kirchberg region, Wil and surroundings.
Our commitment to sport and leisure activities, and the support of local associations and organisations, supports the prevention of disease and contributes to a higher quality of life for young and old alike.
Furthermore, by making small financial contributions and giving practical help, we support associations and organisations, but also various events involving, for example, non-profit associations, music and choral societies, sporting tournaments for children and adolescents, mountain-bike races, Tibet projects (e.g. the indoor cycling event by Move for Tibet – “Tibet on the Saentis”) etc.
Cultivate Art – Experience New Trends in Art !
For the first time, SWISS CAPS AG in Kirchberg (SG), Switzerland decided to support and promote young artists from Eastern Switzerland and their projects. Together with the Schoenenberger gallery in Kirchberg (SG), this has now become a reality and the SWISS CAPS AWARD has been assigned to Herbert Weber, Ebnat-Kappel (photography).
A preview event was organised for all Swiss Caps employees, at which they could evaluate the artists according to their personal tastes. The majority of our employees voted for Daniela Gugg, Stettfurt (Multimedia).
The evening was very interesting, and it provided intellectual stimulation to all our employees, while sparking a creative dialogue with the world outside of the healthcare industry.
London Marathon 2007 - 42 km for good causes
As every year, the London Marathon again took place in April 2007. A partner of our British investor group Bridgepoint Capital Limited participated for a good cause. Swiss Caps was one of the sponsors, and supported him with its donations.
The money was donated to CHASE “Hospice care for children” in Great Britain. This organisation supports families with children and teenagers who suffer from incurable illnesses. As CHASE does not receive official funding, it depends entirely on charitable donations. In this way, since 1998, over 500 families have benefited from its support.
“Round Table” - language courses for foreign nationals keen to integrate
The "round table" is an integration forum in the village of Bazenheid (a municipality of Kirchberg), which organises language courses for new arrivals in the region. The organisation is designed for foreign nationals living in the area, and offers them the opportunity to get to know the Swiss culture and the Swiss-German language by means of a language course provided at reasonable cost. In 2006, there were 43 attendees divided into 4 groups, and taught by three trained teachers.
Since the "round table" is a non-profit organisation, and is not able to bear all the costs of this project, all larger employers in the community were approached and asked to provide financial support for the project.
As SWISS CAPS AG employs many foreign nationals, we have the firm conviction that integration in society and the work environment can only be achieved through linguistic communication. In the long run, both employer and employees can only profit if communication is thus improved.
